This past year has been a difficult one for our family. With the passing of my father-in-law, Rabbi Moshe Zwick, a void has been left that can't be filled. However, we are inspired to continue his legacy of chesed.

As part of the leadership of Baltimore Bikur Cholim. I get to see the enormous acts of chesed Bikur Cholim orchestrates from the inside. But, my family and I - and particularly with my father-in-law's multiple hospitalizations, have been the beneficiaries of the chesed of Bikur Cholim - not just in Hopkins, U of MD, Sinai, GBMC, St. Joe’s and St. Agnes (yes – that list is too long) – but with their other services outside of the hospital as well. And the reach of the organization is far: Baltimore is home to world-class medical centers such as Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland, and we assist patients and their families from cities not just across the United States, but across the world. The care they provide to both Baltimore residents and the countless others who find themselves in Baltimore in serious times of need is abundant. The services Bikur Cholim provides range from meals to transportation to equipment to advocacy.
