I am teaming up with my father on our bikes to honor the memory of my beloved grandparents, יצחק דוב בן יחיאל מאיר הלוי and בילא חיה בת משה, who both passed away recently.
After my Zaidy passed away on Chanukah, my grandmother came to Baltimore and spent her final six weeks at Sinai Hospital. I loved her so much, so I went with my father to visit her almost every single day.
Bikur Cholim took amazing care of us during those hard weeks. They checked on my grandmother, talked with the doctors, and kept the hospital hospitality room full of food. Because of them, my father and I could always grab a quick snack to recharge without ever having to leave my grandmother's side.
